Kevin Hollinrake co-founded Hunters in 1992, acting as Managing Director from this date until February 2015, when he became Chairman. Prior to this, he worked at Prudential Property Services from 1987 to 1991 as an Area Manager. As Managing Director of the Group he oversaw its expansion from a single branch to a national estate agency business. In 2008 Kevin founded Vizzihome, a market research business, which was later sold to Zoopla. He was also one of the founders of Realcube, the Company which designed the software package used by the Company and the Franchisees and which is now wholly owned by Hunters. He is currently the Member of Parliament for Thirsk and Malton.
Non-Executive Deputy Chairman
Harry Hill was appointed as Chief Executive in March 2015 to provide the Group with additional executive expertise. He has extensive property experience having worked in the industry for over 40 years. He was previously Chief Executive and Chairman of Countrywide plc and was also Chairman of Rightmove plc, which today holds the position as the leading property listing portal in the UK.
Glynis Frew joined Hunters Estate Agents in 1999 and has been leading as Chief Executive Officer since December 2016. With over 20 years of experience in property, Glynis is highly driven and a well-known public figure in the sector, where she has been instrumental in Hunters’ growth into one the industry’s largest franchises. She continues to raise the business’s professional standards to the highest level through education and initiatives such as the Hunters Training Academy and is well known for her contribution to the regulatory environment.
Prior to joining Hunters, Glynis held a number of roles with blue chip companies including United Biscuits and PepsiCo, where she specialised in running key accounts, sales and training.
Hunters, which opened its first office in York in 1992 and its first franchising branch in 2006, now has a network of over 200 branches nationwide. The company listed on the AIM stock exchange in 2015 and has consistently delivered strong results since then as it continues to grow.
Chief Financial Officer
Ed Jones joined Hunters as Finance Director in 2006. Prior to this, from 2000 to 2006 he was an executive at Williams de Bröe PLC in corporate broking where he acted for a number of publicly listed companies, advising on flotations, takeovers, mergers and acquisitions, fund raising and regulatory compliance. Ed qualified as a member of the Securities Institute in 2000 having qualified as an accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1995. Between 1995 and 2000 Ed worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers within its corporate finance division.
Dean Fielding was appointed a Non-Executive Director in April 2015. He joined GA Property Services in 1995 and became Finance Director of Your Move in 2002. Dean subsequently served as Group Finance Director of LSL Property Services Plc from 2004 to 2010. Dean was responsible for the financial strategy and ensuring strong financial controls internally.
Co-Founder & Director
A founding partner of the Hunters Group, John commenced his journey when it was established in 1992. A Member of the NAEA and MICBA John has experience of all facets of the property market. He is currently Hunters Property Auctioneer holding monthly property auctions in York. John currently works part time spending 50% of his time in Barcelona with his wife Jill daughters and grandchildren.
National Sales Director
Martin joined Hunters in 1997 in the sales department and proceeded to work his way through the ranks to Manager, Area Manager and made a Director in 2006 and then National Sales Director in 2016. Martin previously worked in sport and sports management, firstly as Assistance Head coach to the MCC from 1986-92. Then Assistance Director of Sports Development at Ampl;eforth College before taking up the Role of Cricket Development Officer at Durham CCC, just after they achieved First Class status, in 1993 and was instrumental in setting up The School of Excellence and Youth Cricket Academy.
Chief Operating Officer
Dan joined Hunters in March 2019 following 15 years leading the technology within Foxtons group as Chief Information Officer. Since 2002, Dan was a central driver in transforming Foxtons group into a large network chain with centralised functions. He devised, created and delivered all technology solutions to deliver a fundamental different approach to the agency industry. Dan’s expertise straddles the technology world together with the pragmatic management of a results driven organisation. Prior to this, Dan had extensive experience in managing manufacturing operations across Europe and provide IT delivery to many recognisable brands within the transport, retail and industry sectors as a Programme Director with Logica.
Andy Bushell joined Hunters in May 2011 and has led the expansion of the franchise network as Franchise Director. Prior to his appointment, Andy enjoyed an estate agency career spanning some 25 years and in the process has held various senior roles working for organisations including Your Move (LSL PLC) and Halifax PLC. Whilst at Halifax Estate Agents, Andy moved into franchising, a business sector he has operated in for over 10 years, with responsibility including sales, support and training.
