We are looking for a full time Maintenance Assistant to work within our busy and successful Head Office in York.
Please note that this is an office based role and as 95% of work is carried out over the telephone, the successful candidate will have an excellent telephone manner, a proven track record in customer service and a proactive approach. Already possessing some lettings experience would be advantageous.
As a Maintenance Assistant you will build and maintain relationships with tenants, landlords and franchise partners to meet their high service expectations. You may face some challenging clients but you will have the ability to take control of the situation and negotiate a favourable outcome for all parties.
Great attention to detail is crucial for this role as well as the ability to prioritise tasks and working to strict deadlines.
Key responsibilities include:
- instructing and overseeing remedial works
- liaising with tenants, landlords, contractors and franchise partners over the telephone
- ensuring compliance with current legislation
- maintaining and updating records
