Kilmorie School – 12 Days of Christmas Fair

Whether you are ready for it or not, the festive season is upon us. Even if your Christmas planning isn’t in full swing, it is likely in the back of your mind. Whether you are scheduling shopping days or you want to have some festive fun, we have a date for your diary.

On Saturday the 30th of November, Kilmorie School is having it’s ‘Twelve Days of Christmas Fair’. From the brightly coloured poster below, you will see there is a great deal on offer at the event. There will be festive food and drink, a carousel, local crafts and gifts, a chocolate tombola, Santa’s Grotto and even a raffle alongside fun and games.

We know there will be some fantastic prizes in the raffle, and we are pleased to say we are sponsoring one of the main prizes. If you, or someone you know, is looking for a Nintendo Switch this Christmas, make sure you buy some raffle tickets. This is because Hunters Forest Hill is sponsoring this prize, and we hope the lucky winner has endless hours of fun playing the great games on the device.

We are great supporters of the school, and we love their approach in making a difference in pupils’ lives, and in their local community.

We support Kilmorie School

We should all be looking for ways to be eco-friendlier, and we love that Kilmorie School is helping pupils get a better understanding of why this is so important. To support the school, and the youngsters, Hunters Forest Hill is delighted to support this cause. We are providing re-useable plastic cups which can be used all year round.

There have been various studies which show the importance of staying hydrated, and this is true for children. By having access to water in the classroom, children are likely to be more alert and engaged, which can only be a good thing for them, and the teacher! By assisting the move from single-use bottles to re-usable plastic cups, we hope to play a part in helping local youngsters make more out of their school day.

The two posters above are both fantastic, and they were prepared by pupils at the school. We’re sure you’ll agree with us in saying they look brilliant, and we’d like to congratulate all the pupils who were involved in the project.

We are going green with our estate agency boards

We believe it is vital that everyone plays their part and does what they can. Major companies must lead the way, but if each individual and small firm makes positive changes, and calls for improvements, change can happen. Therefore, we are pleased to announce our estate agency boards are made from sustainably sourced plastic. Our boards are re-used time and time again, as opposed to only being used once.
