10K Middlesbrough Run

Hunters Middlesbrough staff on the run for a good cause

Lisa Preston, Middlesbrough Divisional Director for Hunters Middlesbrough and Jordan Clayton, Lettings Negotiator, are both competing in the Middlesbrough 10K run on 2nd September to raise money for Middlesbrough & Teesside Philanthropic Foundation.

The Charity is set up 'by Teessiders for Teessiders' and help businesses and individuals join together to make Middlesbrough and Teesside better places to live and work. They fund a number of varied projects within the region 'where there is no other possible source of income and where there is real and sustainable community benefit'.

Lisa, a born and bred ‘Boro girl, has been running since 2008 with several 5km and 10km charity runs under her belt as well as completing the New York Marathon.

Jordan, who joined Hunters Middlesbrough in January as an apprentice, started training with Lisa in the spring and now has the running bug, despite battling with a bad heart (for which he may need an operation).

If you would like to show your support, Lisa and Jordan would greatly appreciate any donations large or small. Read more about the Charity and their race, and donate via the Just Giving website.
