The Negotiator has published an opinion piece by Hunters CEO Glynis Frew about a new set of recommendations laid out by the Regulation of Property Agents Working Group (RoPA).
It is great to be at the forefront of media discussions on this key issue and re-enforce Hunters’ position in the regulatory environment. Regulation is absolutely a force for good if it’s done well, and will change public and media perceptions of agents, something we have always been passionate about at Hunters.
Regulation and compliance is taken seriously in our business where all staff are offered free training through the Hunters Training Academy to keep on top of ever evolving industry legislations, how to maintain excellent customer service and making sure we work according to standards and best practice.
Every agent should take the job of selling or letting property seriously, unfortunately a small minority of rogue agents are able to get away with poor service and malpractice.
If done right, regulation should drive that all important level playing field and improve standards across our industry.
