Estate Agents North West

The North West of England has, according to the last OCSI Census in 2011, a population of slightly over 7 million people. It is full of industrious and versatile people inhabiting great cities such as Liverpool and Manchester. The region comprises Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside.

As well as its fair share of busy towns, cities and farm lands, the North West features some wonderful areas of natural beauty such as the Lake District, Saddleworth in the Peak District, Morecambe Bay and Cheshire Plain.

The region is rich in culture and diversity and Liverpool, for example, boasts of being home to the oldest Chinese community in Europe.

The North West is possibly the largest manufacturing base in the UK, which is significant when considering the UK’s place in the world stage as the ninth largest industrial nation. With the automotive industry playing a large part, the region is still important for the textile industry as well.

People are attracted to the region for a wide range of reasons - its people, culture, universities, job opportunities etc.
