About Bradford

Bradford is home to a multi-award winning City Park and the all-new £260m Broadway shopping centre boasting over 70 restaurants, cafes and shops.

It’s an exciting time to live in this city - Bradford also has a flourishing business sector with a stronghold in the media and film industry and a vibrant university. Named the Curry Capital in 2015, the city is famous for its large number of superb curry houses with an established reputation for culinary excellence. Bradford is also studded with grand Yorkshire stone buildings in the city centre, making this a pleasant place to call your abode.

You’ll also note that the Bradford District has a beautiful countryside where you can admire the rolling hills and catch a breath of fresh air, with new routes cropping up that guide you from locations such as Baildon to Ilkley, Saltaire Village in Shipley, Burley in Wharfedale and beyond.

Our residents also enjoy weekend visits to the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford Playhouse and Salts Mill, where they can explore the works of famous artist David Hockney and have afternoon tea at the Café Opera.

Bradford residents are also known to be such a friendly bunch, and the amenities available and unique character of our prided city means we’re known as home to people from a multitude of different backgrounds, with properties to suit.

This extends from traditional family homes, typical West Yorkshire stone built terraces to large detached homes on the outskirts of the city. Our city centre apartments and rental properties are also extremely popular amongst hospital staff and students.
