Tring is a 17th century market town set amidst the Chiltern Hills in Hertfordshire.  Situated 30 miles north-west of London, and with excellent transport links including its own train station (direct routes to London, Euston in just 40 minutes), Tring is now a popular commuter town.  The A41 bypass links Tring to the M25, Hemel Hempstead junction for Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports.  Luton airport is only 12 miles away.

Tring is well known for its excellent schooling, and is in the catchment area for Bucks Grammar School for ages 11+. It is also situated close to Berkhamsted and its numerous private schools.

Tring has a thriving High Street with popular names such as Marks & Spencer and Tesco, and has plenty for tourists to see and do including the Natural History Museum, the four Tring Reservoirs, Wilstone, Tringford, Startops End and Marsworth, and the Ashridge Estate, situated within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which almost surrounds the town.
