CONSTRUCTION

The property is one of the well-known Potton self-build homes of the Heritage Comberton ‘C’ design with alterations to the layout. Potton Heritage range is country cottage themed, with many authentic period-style features such as inglenook fireplace and exposed posts and beams and built to a high energy saving specification. The traditional ‘aisle’ frame construction allows flexibility with regard to room layout and sizes and the posts and beams remain exposed throughout the house giving a charming period ambience. In 2009 most of the windows were replaced with pvc double glazing with outward opening escapes to the upstairs.
