Upon entering the Market Place from Long Street via the one way system (Chapel Street) Hunters is situated on the left hand side next door to the George Hotel.

The name of Easingwold is Anglo Saxon in origin, with wold being a derivation of wald meaning forest, and the former part being a Saxon family name called Esa. Although rich in history and folklore, Easingwold is essentially a very tranquil town with everything it needs at its doorstep.
