Why live in Whitchurch?

Whitchurch is a small village found just four miles south of Bristol.

With the A37 passing right through Whitchurch, the village has good road links to Bristol and other nearby towns and villages. The A37 is known locally as Wells Road and it links Bristol with Dorchester. There are bus services running every 30 minutes to take locals from Whitchurch into the centre of Bristol. This gives easy access to Bristol Temple Meads station, making travel around the country easily accessible from here.

Whitchurch has small independent shops, barbers and florists. There’s a big supermarket locally, as well as smaller grocery stores. Nearby Hengrove and Stockwood have morel shopping too. Hengrove has retail parks, which are home to a cinema, big brand shops and well-known chains of places to eat out.

When eating out, there are some great cafes, restaurants, and pubs, and there are also some good takeaways too.

Bristol city centre is easily accessible as it’s so close to Whitchurch. This gives residents the best of both worlds; a quiet residential area to live in with plenty of green space nearby, with quick access to the buzz of the city centre and its brilliant shopping and nightlife.
