Property prices in East Hertfordshire rose by just 1.2% over the past year, adding £5,700 to the typical home, according to Zoopla’s November 2025 House Price Index.
The area is just ahead of the UK average where prices have risen by 1.1% since November 2024.The typical East Hertfordshire home is now worth £480,000, comfortably above the UK average house price of £270,300.
Over the past month, prices in East Hertfordshire have been static. But looking back over the last five years, the average property value has grown by 11.9%.
