Hunters run the Yorkshire Marathon
The majestic marathon quest is being braved by Hunters Director Martin Robinson, Justin Johnson from Hunters Wetherby and David Curwen from Hunters Group in the Midlands who are taking part in the PlusNet Yorkshire Marathon on the 11th of October 2015 to raise money for The Nikki Waterhouse Trust.
Thank you to all who have donated so far, if you wish to donate then please click here to visit our JustGiving page - all donations are hugely appreciated.
The Nikki Waterhouse Trust was set up in February 2015 for the public benefit, and to offer relief and assistance to children in need within the United Kingdom. Martin says, "The charity was set up in memory of our dear colleague and friend – Nicole Waterhouse, who at the age of 32, was sadly taken away from us in 2013 following tragic circumstances. Nikki was a bright, lovely girl who loved life. Her loss deeply affected everyone who knew her."
The Trust was formed by John Waterhouse, Nikki’s father and Hunters President together with fellow Directors Kevin Hollinrake, Glynis Frew, Ed Jones and Martin Robinson who all wanted something good to come out of a tragic event. Nikki loved children so it felt right to create a trust in her name to help make a difference to their lives. The Nikki Waterhouse Trust aims to support children and their families in times of need.
Good luck to Martin, David and Justin.
