Retford Market Town
Retford Market Town is a medium sized market town of approximately 25,000 people. The General Market is held every Thursday and Saturday while the Collectors Market takes place every Friday. Each month, on the first and third Friday, a Small Craft Market is held, and there is also a specialised Farmers Market every third Saturday. There are also many high street shops in town, along with specialised ones, selling a wide variety of merchandise.
Retford has a rich history with the first Market first being held here in 1275.
