Of all the property types on sale in the UK right now, it looks as though three-bedroom homes are in great demand. On average, this style of home sells in 24 days while one-bedroom flats sell in 34 days. This is the longest time to sell a property in the UK right now.
One of the key reasons why the time it takes to sell property has decreased is down to the shortage of homes in the market. While many homeowners are looking to sell their current home and move on, the demand is far outstripping the supply of homes.
This can be seen with four and five-bedroom properties selling 16 days faster, which is the largest decrease seen.
