Tring is a beautiful and historic market town set within the Chiltern Hills in Hertfordshire.

The town’s High Street is thriving with well-known national chains as well as a rich collection of lovely independent stores. There are cafes, bistros, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants.

In addition to the welcoming community in Tring the area offers a variety of state and independent schooling for all ages including the famous Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.

Tring is buzzing with cultural events running throughout the year. There’s Chilfest (a summer music festival), Bonfire Night in autumn and the Christmas market in winter. Pendley Manor Hotel is in a Grade II listed building near Tring that hosts a variety of acts throughout the year and is home to an annual comedy festival.

There are plenty of places to enjoy a day out. Head to Tring Natural History Museum, walk along one of Tring’s four reservoirs (Wilstone, Tringford, Startops End and Marsworth), discover Wendover Woods, or explore the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

 Situated just 30 miles northwest of London, it’s a popular town with commuters. There are excellent transport links including the town’s train station, which has direct routes to London Euston taking just 40 minutes. Services to Birmingham, Northampton and Crewe are also regular, quick and easy. By bus, the town has excellent services to Hemel Hempstead, Watford and Luton Airport. And if you prefer to travel by car, the A41 bypass links Tring to the M25 to reach Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports, and Luton airport is only 12 miles away.
