    Richard Hadley

    Director / Building Surveyor & Valuer

    I started working in property shortly after finishing University in Plymouth, when I decided (was told) to get a career and moved back to Redditch. Whilst working as a project engineer in the automotive industry I started to refurbish property in my spare time and became a landlord in the late 90’s. This soon became a passion and I started a letting agency called Hadley Property Management. The last 15 years or so has seen a lot of change. After a lot of hard work and support we are still going strong now and my aspirations are to evolve even further. Joining Hunters has moved us up a level within the industry and their training has been first class. In a professional capacity I have studied and trained over a number of years to acquire my RICS qualifications in Building Surveying & Valuation. On a personal level I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my family, taking my children to football or tennis most weekends. When I have time, I make no apologies for having a few beers in a local pub with some good food and watching a game of football or any other sport.

    Susanna Cookes

    Branch Manager & Valuer

    Property has always been a passion of mine and growing up on a farm in a small Worcestershire village has given me a great insight to country living and what it’s all about. I joined Hunters 6 years ago as a Senior Sales Negotiator after working at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. I fancied a career change, I wanted to stay local to where I live and knew I loved interacting with all walks of life from working at the hospital and the two local pubs in the village I grew up in. My passion for property rocketed and I quickly found myself in the role as Branch Manager & Valuer and have been now for almost 3 years. I pride myself on my customer services skills and vast knowledge of valuing property and land in and around the area. When I am not working, you will find me spending time with my family (especially my nieces and nephew) or socialising with my friends.

    Tom Cleaveley

    Lettings Manager

    I the lettings manager for Hunters North East Worcestershire. I joined the Hunters team in 2017 after returning from a year travelling the world and enjoying a short stop gap as a Restaurant Manager in my hometown, Worcester. I have always had a thirst for property and as soon as I was offered the fantastic opportunity to join the Hunters team, it was the perfect opportunity to start my journey. I thrive and thoroughly enjoy the fast pace and excitement our office brings to the property industry, allowing each day to be different. Day to day, I enjoy the wide variety of tasks my role entails, including day to day management of our large letting’s portfolio, valuations, viewings, and general property advice. In my spare time, I am an avid sports fan encompassing an array of hobbies such as, football, golf, and cricket. When I am not spending time with family, you will find me spending time with my friends.

The villages and countryside in North East Worcestershire and South Birmingham are fantastic places to live.

The centres of Alvechurch: Barnt Green and Blackwell are within 3 miles of each other, although the outskirts amalgamate into one large sought after area, each with their own charm, characteristics and benefits.

The Lickey Hills Country Park is on your doorstep and lies approximately 11 miles south of Birmingham City Centre. Bromsgrove and Redditch town centres are within 6 miles, each with every day social and leisure amenities.  Alvechurch and Barnt Green benefit from village trains stations with 3 trains an hour to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, University and onward to Birmingham New Street. In the opposite direction is a short hop to Redditch. Bromsgrove train Station has regular services to Worcester Foregate Street. The entire area has fantastic access to the M42 and M5 providing access to the heart of the motorway network. Birmingham International Airport is  18 miles via the M42 and just over 20 minutes by car with no disruptions.

The canal network runs through Alvechurch and Barnt Green and the Marina is an historical focal point in Alvechurch particularly.
