Sidcup’s in the borough of Bexley in south east London, and it’s about 11 miles from Charing Cross.

The area has excellent transport links. Sidcup train station and Welling train station are both within easy reach and provide access to London Bridge, Charing Cross, Cannon Street and London Victoria. Sidcup is in Travelcard zone 5, and the train station has services to Charing Cross and Cannon Street, as well as London Bridge, which can be reached in just over 20 minutes. Sidcup has the A20 running just south of it, providing access to central London using the A2, and the M25 is within easy reach too.

Families love Sidcup because there’s a lot of primary schools here as well as several secondary schools in and around the area. Sidcup’s also home to two well-known performing arts colleges.

There’s access to a great collection of local shops, which include independent stores and national brands. Sidcup has some unique stores including a ladies clothing store and a gift shop, so there’s always a chance to find something a little different. The area has several supermarkets to choose from, so it’s easy to pick up essentials throughout the week.

Locals enjoy an exciting food and drink scene here in Sidcup. There are several cuisines to choose from when heading out for a meal, such as Turkish, Italian, Lebanese, Sri Lanken, and French. The area has a fantastic local micropub, as well as plenty of bars and pubs to choose from when going out for a drink with friends or family.

If you enjoy being active, Sidcup Leisure Centre provides a local gym and swimming pool, and there’s also Sidcup Golf Club. The area has plenty of local green space, including local parks, with great facilities such as a boating lake and tennis courts.

Sidcup sits on the edge of Kent, which provides easy access to gorgeous open countryside and plenty of opportunities to get away from it all. However, you’re also close to the centre of London and all the excitement and opportunities that it has to offer, so you get the best of both worlds when living here.

    Mark has worked as an estate agent since 1985 starting his career as a Negotiator for an independent agent in Bromley, Kent and has unrivalled knowledge in the property industry. He is an avid Formula 1 fan and is a keen supporter of Sidcup Rugby club and Bexley cricket club. With a friendly approach, Mark is happy to talk to all customers, New and old with any property related questions.

    Branch Manager

    Matt started his career in 2014 as a junior negotiator and has worked his way up to Branch Manager of the Sidcup office. Matt is also the third generation of estate agent in the family and has been around the business his whole life. He also enjoys playing Golf as a member of Royal Blackheath Golf Club and is a big Formula One fan as well as enjoying both Cricket and Rugby. Matt has always enjoyed helping people from start to finish with their move and having been to both primary and secondary schools in Sidcup knows the area like the back of his hand.

    Amanda is our Lettings Manager. Amanda enjoys finding tenants a new home as well as providing unrivalled service to our landlords protecting them from the ever-changing legislation, she is the calm in our busy office – keeping all administration in check. Keeping everything organised and reminding us of whatever is needed next. Her support is essential in a bid to ensure all customers have a response as quickly as possible.

    Branch Negotiator

    Joey joined the Hunters team in Sidcup in January 2023 and very quickly proved that he was born a natural Estate agent showing great enthusiasm and keenness from the get go. He was born in the local area and finished his secondary education in Orpington and worked for a local flooring company before joining the Hunters Team. Joey is a keep fit fanatic and will often finish work and drive straight to the Gym for an hours work out. If you are looking to Buy or Rent, give Joey a call and he will be happy to help.

  • Sidcup train station and Welling train station are both within easy access and takes only 30-40 minutes to central London, London Bridge, Charing Cross, Cannon Street and London Victoria. Access can also be easily obtained to the A2 and M25 motorway.
