Why live in Tower Bridge?

The Tower Bridge area is in the borough of the Tower Hamlets on the River Thames. The Tower Bridge itself is London’s most iconic landmark, despite being just over 120 years old.

Many places can be found just a short walk along the river from Tower Bridge, but there are great transport links from the area taking you to other parts of London and to national travel links. Tower Hill Underground is just a few minutes’ walk from Tower Bridge and gives access to the District and Circle lines. There’s also London Bridge station nearby, which has the Northern and Jubilee lines.

London’s oldest market, Borough Market, provides incredible and exciting stalls packed full of fresh foods from some of the best producers you’ll find. Enjoy both British and international food options here amongst the bustling stalls. Other local shopping options available include Hay’s Galleria with its mix of high street brands and unique, ever-changing market stalls.

Nightlife in the Tower Bridge area is exciting and plentiful. The Shard has exquisite options for food and drink with city-wide views over London. There are lots of good restaurants providing diners with different cuisines to choose from, and there’s a great pub scene too, for those after a more relaxed evening out.

The Tower of London and HMS Belfast are both good choices for a day out. Shakespeare’s Globe is just a short walk away too. However, being in central London there are endless options of exciting places to visit and explore, right at your fingertips.
